i did the same when we were trying! every month i would convince my self that i had all the signs, although most of them match period signs too, aching boobs, grumpiness etc. i was even feeling sick one month! probably bought enough tests to open a shop!!! then the month iwas actually pregnant i had'nt even thought i was and was made to do a testr by a friend, that was the first of four because we thought it must be a mistake that it was positive!!!!
/my best advice is to try to stop thinking about it! we focused on a holiday we were planning, then all of a sudden it happened!!
good luck!

Karen

Your advice is spot on sometimes you can convince yourself your pregnant and get all the signs and imagine it. I am not saying that anyone is doing this but some months when I was trying for my baby I was convinced I was pregnant and it used to do my head in when AF arrived. Its right if you focus on something else it will hopefully happen or so they say.

Oh how lovely, I had to have IVF Karen after trying for a baby for 3 years I hope to think now that when it comes to try for baby number 2 I won't need to go all thru that again. How long had she been trying for a baby?

i think it was about two years, she had problems with her tubes but the doctors think they cleared them when she had a camera down there to check them, (can't spell the technical term!)
i hope it happens easier for you next, we waited about nine months and that was hard enough, and that was nothing compared to what you must ahve gone through!
good luck

Yeah it was hard Karen because then it took over our life sex was timed and it was awful. Because I got that way with my ex I would never let it happen again. I will just take things in my stride.
At the end of the day if I can only have Alex then that is fine I will be happy but who knows what is round the corner may just catch naturally.

thats the way i now look at life, hold ya head up and take life as it comes, and don't regret anything!!
i hope it does happen for you again but then none of us know what is gonna happen in the future. i, as i'm sure you do, feel very lucky, no matter how easy or hard it was, to have my little boy! every day i look at him and can't believe he's mine let alone grew inside me, i still see it all a miracle the way it all happens! its mad!

My Dad always says to me Alex is a gift and yeah he is a gift. I do think its amazing how they grow and form like they do from two people making love. I think I am having a moment now. Its good that someone else thinks like me. I wouldn't change my little boy for the world just like you wouldn't change yours.
