Hi Laura

I just wanted to wish you all the best with your trying for a baby - I am sure it won't be long till you have something to tell us.

Re work - speak to your boss I am sure he will be fine, but even if not I am sure its the law that he has to make sure that you don't do anything to cause a risk to yourself or the baby.

I work in an office an the heavy thing I lift is a paper file (LOL) but I still had to have a risk assessment.

Oh by the way I am sure Superdrug has an offer on the moment on pregnare care tablets. They contain your folic acid intate and also all the vitamins a minerals that are recommended too and you can take them whilst trying to concieve and when pregnant.

Good Luck

Lucy

Aww thanks Lucy, i have had a word with my boss and he has said he will get a member of staff in to man the warehouse, which would be so much easier for me.

I will have to have a look in Superdrug, i think the box i got was £4 something from Tesco. I started taking them today, do you know what the offer is at all?

Thanks again for the wishes, i hope i can post the good news on here in the near future

Sorry Laura

I saw the offer on a leaflet I had in the post which I have now thrown away.

I did have some left over myself but have given them away to my sister in law who's pregnant.

Have just done a search on google and they are on 3 for 2 at Boots (£3.99 each). I'm sure the leaflet I got was for superdrug but it doesn't say anything on their website

Well AF is due tomorrow, tomorrow is day 28 of my cycle! I dont have any period symptoms but then again i dont have any pregnancy symptoms either! Im not getting my hopes up. I dont know if stopping the pill would have mucked my body up and i may be late what do you think? Before i went on the pill my periods were really bad and id always have symptoms days before i came on and i used to suffer really bad i am just hoping i dont have bad periods again!

Love

Hi Laura,

I just wanted to wish you lots of luck with trying. I came off the pill and was pregnant the very first month, thinking it would take ages!

Everyone is different though so don't get too disappointed if it's not immediate, it may take time for your hormones to find their natural rhythm again after the pill.

With regards to your job, they have a resonsibility for your safety in the workplace and that is even more so when you're pregnant...and they can't get funny with you either about any requests you make as that will be discrimination!

Sending lots of babydust your way!

Sam
