Hi Nikki

Sounds like she was really nice its nice when you get a nice doctor it is half the battle. I know you say you need to do a strict diet, didn't you do WW at one stage?

I really do hope you manage to shift these lbs that your on about, least you have been today so its a case now of taking it one step at a time.

Shell.

It sounds as if it was a really useful appointment, Nikki, and the doctor sounds lovely. Good luck with the weight loss.

Love Jules

Hi Nikki

It sounds like you had a good appt.
The Dr sounded lovely.
Drs thought I had PCOS after I had Ollie and bled for 9 months without stoping (still unsure if I have or haven't to be honest and you saying about the weight thing makes me wonder as I find it sooooo difficult to shift weight even when I'm being a saint!)

Anyway I wish you lots of luck with the weight. I'm sure you'll do it!

((hugs))

Hi Nikki

Just read your post glad your app was good

can i ask what is Metformin.

My sister is having tests done at mo for pcos as she has lost 3 babies the first pregnacy being twins, she has had bloods done for deformates and now she has been book in for a scan to see if she has pcos, she said her consultant told her to lose some weight as she is more than likely to have pcos.

Do you know of anywhere that i could go onto to find out more about pcos.

Also i have ibs ask your doctor to prescribe NORMCOL you can add it to food or just take a spoon full and wash it down with water i cant do with out it, have to say my ibs has not been as bad since i had Izobele, i might get a flare up every 6 months.

Lyn xxxxxx

HI Lynn

Here's a link to what is PCOS

http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/womenshealth/facts/pcos.htm

Thanks for the advice about the IBS - I'll ask my doc about it.

Nikki, i know this weight loss thing is going to be hard going and it doesn't help if our dh's have the odd jib about us putting on weight. No doubt Jeff has to be very fit and watch what he eats to do his job maybe he could point you in the right direction.

My life saver is the gym, if you can burnt off the fat with treadmill up hill walking/ flat running or even classes it is good thing. Swimming is excellent too to burn and tone. I wouldn't train with dh he is too compeditive.

I wish you all the best, and hope that little miracle comes soon for you both. Karolynx
