Default think it's time to come to terms with...

only having Lucy. We've been trying to conceive for just over 3 years, my gp has said that there is obviously still an infertility problem and has offered us repeat fertility tests but dh had declined them saying that he doesn't believe anything has changed since the last lot. We have taken a joint desicion to abandon the ivf route both due to cost and the fact that i am a poor responder to the drugs.

So I have decided that a new year is a new start and I need to stop thinking I'm pregnant every time my af is late and accept the fact that baby number 2 isn't going to happern.

I'm lucky to have a beautiful 3 year old daughter who is the apple of my eye and I love more than life itself.

good luck to all of you who are trying.

karen

Karen, sorry to hear it's not worked out for you so far, but it doesn't mean it won't ever. I think you are very strong to make the decision you both have, but I will keep my fingers crossed for you still.

big (((hugs)))

Oh Karen, I feel for you and I hope that the fact that you've made this decision is a comfort to you. I know that we're in the hugely lucky position of having two children but after 1 final ICSI cycle in November, we've come to the same decision and it's been a huge relief. We're able to really value the time we have with Daniel and Charlotte and our relationship has finally got the romance back after 10 years of struggling to conceive.

Enjoy your gorgeous daughter.

Jules

Hi Karen

I know how hard a choice this is as we had to make it too. Treasure the time you have with Lucy, and you never know things may just happen on their own now you will be more relaxed

Hi Karen

Im sorry to hear your wishes havnt come true but as the others have said that doesnt mean it will never happen. Just take each day as it comes and enjoy your life with your DH and Lucy and it could happen when you least expect it.

All the best
Laura

Hi Karen

It must of taken a lot of thought but if you and Dh have agreed to this then you will get through it together. It does not mean it won't never happen but the thing is Karen least you can just enjoy your quality time with Lucy.

Big Hugs
Shell.
