Thank you all, Married life is great....just the same as it was before we were married just with rings on our fingers....lol

Cant believe its Aiden's second christmas already, time has flown by, I can remember so clearly when i was in hospital with him for 16 wks, now it seems such a long time ago, and how much Aiden has changed, from being a tiny 2lb 70z, to and whopping 27 lb bouncy baby boy, He still is not crawling or walking, but he shuffles everywhere on his butt....looks so funny bless him.

Thanks, Thats what the HV and docyor have said that they will monitor me more closely, I suffered severe PE and Hellp syndrome, and ended up in ICU for 4 days, Aiden was born at 28wks by c-section.
They said if he has stayed in any longer we both could of died.

Hey ho, its in the past they keep telling me and to look forward to the future and what is now and will be, not keep dwelling on the past, I do find it hard as I feel so cheated out on what a first time mummy should of had, I never got it, but I am hoping that with the next pregnancy I might get to go all the way this time.

Lots of baby dust coming your way hun.

I had DD1 at 24 weeks, by emergency C-section, as I had Pre-eclampsia and nearly died. So I missed out on certain things first time round. Louise was in Neo-natal unit for 4 months.

DD2 went full term and like you said, the ante-natal clinic kept a closer eye on me and I was given aspirin for a few weeks to thin my blood as a precaution.

Although when I had DD2, the midwifes automatically assumed that I would know how to BF as this was my 2nd child and didn't know my history, so they basically left me to it and I was in tears most of the time. DD wouldn't feed properly, so in the end I had to put her on bottles, otherwise they wouldn't let me go home. Trouble is as well, Good Hope Hospital are very "anti-bottle feeding".

When I asked if someone could give me some help, one of the mv actually said "well this is your 2nd child, so you should know what to do".

Sorry to hijack your thread and ramble on but I found the whole thing quite stressful.
