Katie is going to learn the recorder in september, bless! She really wants to learn the flute, and her teacher told us most start off with the recorder and then move onto a different instrument.....I hope she enjoys it

Excellent that she wants to play an instrument, mush have an ear for music. I would definately encourage Alexander to learn to play.

I myself started with the recorder, moved to the piano and euphonium (smaller than a tuba) and wished i had chosen a smaller lighter instrument. : )

I would be interested to hear how she gets on............

I hope she enjoys it. It's good she wants to learn.

We're going to get Keiran a guitar either for xmas as daddy can't wait to start teaching him and he's starting to get interested.

It's a really good instrument to start with, Ceri. Daniel and Charlotte have been learning the recorder for the past year and they're also going to learn the clarinet from September. I think that it's really good for children to start reading music so young and for us it's lovely that Daniel and Charlotte can practise together and play duets together.

Good luck to Katie!

The school newsletter yesterday has stated that if children are interested in playing an instrument they currently have spaces for recorder, violin, guitar, piano and flute.

I'm going to ask Braden if he would like to play anything and go from there.

Did she enjoy it? Daniel and Charlotte had their first clarinet lesson on Monday and Charlotte seems to be able to make quite a nice sound with it already, but as for Daniel ...
