Yep, we've bought two second hand clarinets and with cost of the lessons and all the other accessories they need, it's cost a fortune. So they'll have to keep up the lessons for a good while yet to make it worth it. Did you buy Katie a recorder? I remember the early days of recorder lessons being quite painful on the ears but they aren't at all bad now, thank goodness. Jules
