Yeah, Braden's school do them.

The infants do a Nativity and the Juniors do some sort of show.

Braden is a star this year I just received his costume off Ebay today . Was considering making one out of cardboard but once I'd bought all the bits to make it, and then the time to make it I decided to buy one for £5 off Ebay!

They are doing one but not sure what Alex will be doing, unfortunately I wont be able to go to it because the dates are a Monday and Wednesday and I work these days and dont have anymore holidays an cant afford to take it without pay.

Nikki - Alex was a star last year so I made it

Least you are told in advance, its children in need Friday I got the letter yesterday for Alex to dress in around the world but I dont have anything and not going to bother, I will send him with the money!!

That's a shame Shell, do you know anyone that can record it for you? I'm having to do that for Jeff cos obviously he can't be there either.

That's bad that you don't get any notice for things - we get quite a lot of notice at our schools. In fact, we get a newsletter with all the dates for things happening throughout the year.

You're good making the star costume Shell - I'm much too lazy

My friend cut the star out at work hun and I just covered it in foil I thought it was horrible being a star and just being at the back not good at all but thats my views on things.
I do think its bad and I am not sure about the recording it does get my back up but what can I do.
I am sure someone will be able to show me some photos.

Shell - that's a shame that you can't go. Can you not swap days or something at work?

According to my assembly list the infant nativity is on 8th Dec and the junior Xmas show is on 15th Dec, not sure what either of them are doing yet, but no doubt I will find out soon enough.

Don't know about all your schools, but they don't have any odjections to parents videoing or taking photos, usually one of the staff take a video and then you have the option to buy one.

Ceri, we're also doing Shine, Star, Shine, with my Year 1 class taking on the leading roles (eek!) and the Year 2 children being the narrators. Daniel and Charlotte's school doesn't do a Nativity.

Shell, that's a real shame that you won't get to Alex's show. I've only seen one of Daniel and Charlotte's 3 Christmas concerts because my school's plays have been on the same evening, so I know how you feel.

Hi All,

To be honest my Mom and Dad dont even know where the school is never mind seeing if they want to go to the xmas play. Its over 30 mins away so I am not sure what they would do. We will see, I know Lee may want to go I aint sure but then he done a recording of it last year and I asked for a copy I didnt get one and didnt get to see it.
