Default Ofsted

Hi guys....

We had a copy of our school's Ofsted report yesterday and it was really good, it scored an overall mark of 2 which = Good, it really is such a wonderful school and Im really happy for all the staff that it had such a good visit.

The only thing that did suprise me was, the parents had a questionaire to fill out, asking about our thoughts on the school and make any comments if wanted to and out of 183 only 85 responded, Gary thinks thats quite good but I think its quite a low response.....

We have had a questionaire to fill in also but you would be surprised how many people dont really bother with this kind of thing.
I think its good that you find out how well the school does and I know that Ofsted is a big thing, its nice to know your children are part of a good school hun. xx

I'm not surprised by the numbers of parents, although I'm sure that the inspectors will have had a lot more questionnaires from our parents when we had our OFSTED back in July (but that's the nature of our parents).

Well done to Thomas and Katie's school! Their teachers must be really relieved; I know that we were back in July and hopefully, because of our grading, we can get away with 6 years before our next inspection, rather than the usual 3!
