Both Louise and Charlotte are having packed lunches. Like you say, you can see what they're eating and also they like to choose what goes in their lunch bag.

If they had school dinners it would be £17.00 a week and with me only working part-time it's a lot out my wages.

Braden will also be having packed lunches - he's got a Spiderman lunch box (picked himself).

Have you been advised what to put in there? We've been told only healthy food, no crisps, chocolate etc.

yeah, he have the leaflet, but to be honest, half the stuff they suggest I know they won't eat. I will see if I can dig it out.

We have opted for hot dinners for the time being. Think its £1.80 a day for 2 snacks and 1 hot dinner.

The school email the parents at the end of the week to tell us what our child has eaten. Although Alexander is a big eater so not too worried on that score.

He might decide he wants packed lunch later in the year will wait and see.

Well this is my fear with Alex with dinners I have opted for packed lunch but he can be a bit picky.
I am just going to put him a sandwich in and then maybe a yogurt and then it does say no fizzy drinks which is fine and no chocolate but it doesn't say anything about crisps

the packed lunch rules are too complicated for me to even think about it. Think i would run out of ideas of what to put in his lunch box.

From what i gather it is no crisps, chocolate, biscuits or fizzy drinks.

It don't say no biscuits to us so I don't know, Clare maybe you can correct me here. Your used to do doing it with Chloe so any ideas.
Alex likes dairylea lunchables but then he gets idle to feed himself, he loves salad but that will just turn to water.
