Default What time does your child/children get up and go to bed?

Hi All,

Just wondering what time your child/children get up or what time they go to bed?

In the week Monday to Friday, Alex will wake up about 6.30 because of school sometime a little later but not much later because have to give him breakfast. Then school nights I put him to bed at 7.30pm and a DVD till 8pm then switch off. If its the weekend or none school I usually let him stay up a bit later depends between 8pm and 9pm and then he will lie in with me on a weekend till 7.30am, sometimes he wkes and watches TV but we stay in bed for a bit.

Sometimes though Lyn you never think they are going to sleep do you, Alex wanted to go bed early tonight so he's in bed at 8pm and didnt watch a dvd 10 minutes an he was fast asleep. You can count though he will wake up and want tv on. The last few mornings I have said its still night out and he will go back to sleep but you cant say that when the light mornings come.

Balian goes to bed at 7pm on the dot (he watches the bedtime hour on CBeebies and once we (and I mean me and Braden) sing the Goodnight song, I take Balian straight up).

Braden goes to bed at 7.30pm. Sometimes he gets a story, sometime he doesn't

Balian usually wakes at around 7-7.30am, and Braden around 7.30am.

at weekend they go up about 8pm(earlier if they have been naughty)and i let them have a dvd on,i dont know what time they actually wake up but they normally come into me about 8am and tell me they are starving so i have to get up.

Rrrr Shell sounds like your into a good routine there, I have been getting Alex back into a routine because while he was off after his operation he didnt go to bed really early. I put him to bed at 8pm last night but then he wouldnt settle for some reason but will let him stay up next week for a little longer but not much longer because I have to be up for work so he stays at my parents. xx

Alexander gooes to bed everynight at 8pm but isn't normally asleep until 9pm.

He wakes up anytime between 7.30 and 8am. Most mornings i have to wake him up for school but he is such a good morning person....bright as a button...even just out of a deep sleep.

Friday and saturday nights are his dvd night (depending of course on his behaviour in the week). He goes to our bed with a dvd, and i normally turn the tv off about 10-1030pm, or he falls asleep watching tv.

When he goes to stay with koulis's mum she puts Alexander to bed when he says he is tired.....that can be as late as 11pm but he will normally sleep until 9am.

Mine are usually in bed 7-7.30pm during the week, they stay up a bit later at the weekend, they wake anytime between 6-7.30am, but are very good and will play happily in their room until its time to get up!
