Hello Hun, Unfortunately I do not have any advice here but hopefully someone will be able to give you some. I never went to the parent classes that was available either (Whoops) but please keep us posted. Shell.xx |

I don't know hun. I went to a couple of parent-craft sessions with a work colleague, as we were both pregnant at the same time with our first. The midwife just showed us basics about changing nappies, feeding, bathing, that sort of thing. Because Louise was premature and she came home with a breathing monitor, we had home visits from City Hospital and they gave us lessons on resuscitation etc. |

good morning, when i did my prenatal classes ( i was in school and had to do it) they did not cover any kind of CPR and or choking. Your best bet is to take a CPR class and make sure they cover infant and toddlers. Julie |

Hi, i did a baby safe first aid course which lasted 2 days. It dealt with electic injuries and cpr, choking hazards etc which i found extremely helpful and was run by st johns. I would sign up for any this if you get a chance. |

I did a St Johns course as well, covered the same as Karolyns. I think it's definatley worth doing for peace of mind. Claire xx |
