Just and update

Am 38 weeks on monday.
spent another week in the hosp last week due to massive infection which caused dehydration among a few other issues.

Am still trying everything to start labour naturally lol with no luck lol.

Will see what the dr says on monday, but have a feeling it's going to be a chemical induction. On the plus side, am already dialated 1 to 2, and my cervix is all ready lol. Now if only i can get labour to start and keep going.

Hi there. Just wanted to welcome you to the site.

Unfortunately, I don't have any advice for you, but hope it isn't long before you have your little baby.

Heather. x

It`s been a bit so I figured i should update lol.

Our son Gabriel was born on Feb 23 after 30 hours of labour then emergency c-section. He was fine and healthy. Thank god.

Unfortunatly after we got home, I developed an abcess in my stomach that could not be seen when looking at the incision. Wound up infected inside and was rushed back into the hospital where i spent another 9 days because of it. I knew i was terrified about it for a reason lol. Now have homecare in once a day to change dressings in the hole in my stomach which is now healing fast now that the infection is gone and am finally feeling on the mend.

I do not regret having our son, but this was definatly our last child after this. lol On the plus side our son is growing well and gaining weight fast and is such a happy baby.

Good luck to the other mom`s on here. And remember even though i had a rough pregnancy and delivery, everyone is different just as each pregnancy is different. I`ve gone both ways, where everything was perfect and where everything went wrong and I don`t regret it at all.
