Thanks for updating Shell

Well we are finally home...

It turned out that firstly he had croup, but then the bacteria took over his body which led to the conjunctivitis, ear infection, throat infection, and finally after the x-ray this morning, a chest infection

So he is now on antibiotics and we have to monitor him at home and if he doesn't get any better we have to take him back up there

Poor little guy, he must be sick to death of hospitals now, so he won't be happy when he has to go in for his operation in May (changed date so Jeff would be here). Every time a nurse walked into the room, he cried

Hopefully he will start to improve and we can at least rescue some family time at the weekend before Jeff goes away again......

Thanks for all your messages girlies.

Just an update for you, and thanks for all your messages.

The antibiotics are working thankfully (although a struggle to get them in him )

I can definitely see an improvement in him and he's smiling again which is great.

He's still quite weak so he falls over a lot when he tries to walk, bless him, but he's eating and drinking again so that's good.

We're off to Essex tomorrow for the weekend as Jeff goes away again on Monday night so he wants to see his parents and visa versa before he leaves.

Braden's teacher has been a complete star as I asked her yesterday if there was any chance I could pick Braden up at midday tomorrow so we can rescue some family time together and she said to take the whole day off!!
