Hi Yes shell Izobele had her ears pierced when she was 4 she asked so i took her also told her it would hurt and it did but she loved it. they have now closed up but its only because she kept getting an infection in just the one ear it was so sore. i cleaned them religiously every day and night and twisted them but still this infection came and went then came back again. in the finish i made the decision that her earring where coming out she didnt like it but her ear soon healed after they where removed. But your daughter is 6 and she will be able to twist them herself and you will be able to clean them, if it is something she wants then it is your choice at the end of the day. Have to say its not cheap £22 i paid for izzy i remember i only paid a £5 for mine lol xx |

I had mine done when I was 7 at a hairdressers. It was only because my Mom took me for a haircut and said that I wanted the sides a bit shorter to show my earrings, as I was getting my ears pierced and the lady said "oh we can do that here". |

thanks everyone,im going to let her have them done but ive been advised to wait for when she breaks up for the long summer hols cause you have to take them out for p.e. and you have to keep the earings they are pierced with in for 6 weeks. I agree too that babies shouldnt have them done. |

Shell, You are doing the right thing then the last thing you would want is for her to get her ears infected and then she will be in pain. Least if she's off school then you can keep bathing them and doing what needs to be done, wise choice, but least you get some views from everyone else here xx |

Ha Ha Shell I know it does become addictive and you will get even more involved with everyone and become friends. I think its nice here nobody judges and everyone gives their honest opinions and thats what counts xx
